Nice, the new world capital of eco-responsible boating
From March 19 to 22, 2026, the Côte d'Azur becomes the Center of gravity of tomorrow's yachting. The Port of Nice, Quai Amiral Infernet, is hosting the very first edition of Nice Boating Tomorrow, an unprecedented event in France and Europe: the first international exhibition devoted exclusively to sustainable boating.
Born from an agreement signed between Christian Estrosi, Mayor of Nice and Deputy President of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region, and Alain Pochon, President of Grand Pavois Organisation (GPO), this New maritime rendezvous is part of the dynamic of the United Nations Ocean Conference, organized in Nice in June 2025. The city is thus sending a strong message to international industry: the Mediterranean intends to play a leading role in ecological transition in the nautical sector.
For the team Weenav, French manufacturer of 100% electric motors, the invitation was impossible to decline. We will be present at Nice Boating Tomorrow.
An event built for change actors
What sets it apart Nice Boating Tomorrow of traditional boat shows is due to its very structure. The event is structured around two highlights: a space forexposure on land and afloat on 8,000 m², with stands, an exhibition hall, docked boats, and sea trial opportunities from 19 to 22 March; and a International forum on 19 and 20 March at the new OceanIce conference center, with conferences, workshops and round tables led by international speakers.
This forum is primarily aimed at professionals (BtoB) and aims to analyze current changes, to put innovations into perspective and to promote the emergence of concrete solutions for more sustainable boating. Among the confirmed speakers: representatives of ICOMIA (International Council of Marine Industry Associations), the Director General of Maritime Affairs of the Ministry of the Sea, experts in environmental analysis and maritime energy transition.
Topics covered will include the decarbonization of propulsion systems, new forms of energy, European financing mechanisms and artificial intelligence applied to yachting.
A program that speaks directly to what we build every day at Weenav.
Nice: a strategic location for Mediterranean yachting
The choice of Nice is not trivial. A strategic crossroads between the Mediterranean, Europe and the international world, Nice relies on a structured maritime ecosystem, a strong nautical tradition, a recognized commitment to ecological transition and a unique international attractiveness.
The port allows nautical exhibitions and navigation tests in real conditions. Visitors reach the site from the airport in about twenty minutes, and the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region supports the event alongside the City and the Nice Côte d'Azur Metropolis.
With the OceanIce Congress Center — inaugurated in 2025 on the occasion of UNOC — with a 1,300 m² terrace overlooking the sea, the city now has infrastructures that match its international maritime ambitions.
What Weenav is looking for at Nice Boating Tomorrow
We approach this show with a clear objective: to remain connected to market dynamics, to new uses and to the players who are shaping the nautical industry of tomorrow.
Observe the clean propulsion technology trends. The exhibition will allow you to discover in concrete terms clean propulsion boats, equipment for energy autonomy and biobased materials. For a company like Weenav, whose DNA has been 100% electric since its creation, this is an opportunity to confront our vision with innovations from an entire sector.
Meet the maritime ecosystem in its entirety. Shipyards, marinas, startups, local authorities, local authorities, service companies, European institutions, distributors, professionals in the sector: Nice Boating Tomorrow brings together in four days what is the most active and most committed part of boating. It is a rare space for dialogue, which we would be wrong to miss.
Understand the expectations of the market and its users. Beyond professionals, the event is also open to the general public — boaters, new practitioners, curious people. Listening to them, understanding their questions about the transition to electricity, their obstacles as well as their desires: this is exactly the type of exchange that feeds our product development.
KRONOS and ARION: engines designed for the Nice Boating Tomorrow universe
Si Weenav is going to Nice as a visitor this year, our electric motors would have their place in this living room. The philosophy of Nice Boating Tomorrow — innovation, zero emissions, zero emissions, performance, sustainable transition — is precisely the philosophy behind our two flagship ranges.
The KRONOS outboard motor, available from 80 to 300 horsepower, offers a 97% motor efficiency. Compatible with all boats equipped with a thermal outboard, it is positioned as the the most advanced electrical solution on the French market. Its first maintenance only takes place after 5,000 hours of navigation — that is, maintenance that is almost non-existent over a lifetime.
The ARION inboard motor, 50 to 500 horsepower, answers to needs of professional boats and large pleasure craft : passenger transport boats, fishing or aquaculture vessels... Silent, compact, can be integrated into existing installations, the ARION embodies clean propulsion without compromise.
In both cases, fuel savings reach up to 80% compared to an equivalent internal combustion engine, and the dependence on hydrocarbon price fluctuations disappears completely.
See you on the docks
Nice Boating Tomorrow will bring together March 19 to 22, 2026 on the Port of Nice, the major players in sustainable boating, combining a lounge afloat and ashore, an international professional forum and immersive experiences around eco-responsible boating, green technologies andMaritime innovation. It is an event open to the general public as well as to professionals, to discover, test and experience the navigation of tomorrow.
The Weenav team will be on site. If you will also be there, do not hesitate to come and tell us about your electrical transition project — at the dock or between two conferences. It is exactly in these moments that the projects that matter are built.
