Electric mobility is taking to the seas
Ports in Europe are gradually equipping themselves with marine charging stations, symbolising a silent revolution in the world of boating. With solutions like those from Aqua superPower and committed players like Weenav, the electric boat is becoming a sustainable reality.
The electric boat today embodies the profound transformation of boating. Quieter, cleaner and more environmentally friendly, it is establishing itself as a credible alternative to thermal engines.
While the automotive sector has already undergone its transformation, electric mobility on water is also underway and this revolution is accelerating.
Aqua superPower: the game-changing infrastructure

Among the key players in this transition is Aqua superPower, a pioneer of marine supercharging. The company has developed a range of fast charging stations capable of delivering up to 75 kW of power, thus allowing the charging of 200 kWh batteries in just a few hours.
Waterproof, marine-grade and corrosion-resistant, these stations are perfectly suited to port conditions and operate equally well on alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC). They are already established in several iconic ports of the Côte d’Azur, such as Cannes, Saint-Tropez, Cogolin, and Monaco, and their deployment continues to expand across the entire French and European territory, also including lakes, such as Lake Geneva.
Thanks to a dedicated mobile application, boaters can locate available charging points, manage their charging, and benefit from a service accessible 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. A seamless and connected experience, serving modern boating.
Weenav, a player in the electric transition compatible with Aqua superPower

At Weenav, we are actively participating in this transition by developing high-performance, silent, and sustainable electric propulsion solutions for boats. Our systems are compatible with Aqua superPower charging stations, allowing users to easily recharge their vessels in equipped ports.
This interoperability is essential: it ensures a seamless experience for all users, regardless of their destination. Thanks to common standards (Type 2 AC or Combo CCS DC), Weenav electric boats can benefit from the fast charging proposed by Aqua superPower.
This compatibility illustrates a shared vision: that of a clean, connected and accessible boating, where innovation goes hand in hand with respect for the environment.
An electric future that sets sail
Technologies are ready, infrastructures are being deployed and mindsets are changing. The sea, long behind the road, is catching up with its electric turn. From leisure boating to professional mobility, the energy transition of boating is being organised, driven by visionary players and concrete initiatives.
But for this revolution to fulfil all its promises, the deployment of charging stations must accelerate. Ports play a key role: the more infrastructures there are available, the more users will dare to take the step towards electric propulsion.
At Weenav, we firmly believe that this transformation is underway. Every new station installed, every electric boat launched, every clean propulsion project represents an additional step towards a more sustainable, quieter and environmentally friendly boating future.
