Nice, the new world capital of eco-responsible boating
From 19 to 22 March 2026, the Côte d'Azur becomes the centre of gravity for the boating of tomorrow. The Port of Nice, Quai Amiral Infernet, hosts the very first edition of Nice Boating Tomorrow, an unprecedented event in France and Europe: the first international show dedicated exclusively to sustainable boating.
Born from an agreement signed between Christian Estrosi, Mayor of Nice and Delegate President of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region, and Alain Pochon, President of Grand Pavois Organisation (GPO), this new maritime meeting is part of the dynamics of the United Nations Conference on the Oceans, organised in Nice in June 2025. The city thus sends a strong message to the international industry: the Mediterranean intends to play a leading role in the ecological transition of the boating sector.
For the team Weenav, a French manufacturer of 100% electric engines, the invitation was impossible to decline. We will be present at Nice Boating Tomorrow.
An event built for change-makers
What distinguishes Nice Boating Tomorrow from traditional boating shows lies in its very structure. The event revolves around two key moments: a space for exhibition on land and afloat over 8,000 m², with stands, an exhibition hall, boats at the dock and opportunities for sea trials from 19 to 22 March; and a International Forum on 19 and 20 March at the new OcéaNice convention centre, with conferences, workshops and round tables led by international speakers.
This forum is primarily aimed at professionals (BtoB) and aims to analyse ongoing changes, to put innovations into perspective and to promote the emergence of concrete solutions for more sustainable boating. Among the confirmed speakers: representatives from ICOMIA (International Council of Marine Industry Associations), the Director General of Maritime Affairs from the Ministry of the Sea, experts in environmental analysis and maritime energy transition.
The topics covered will include, in particular, the decarbonisation of propulsion systems, new forms of energy, European financing mechanisms and artificial intelligence applied to boating.

Nice: a strategic gem for Mediterranean boating

The port allows for nautical exhibitions and navigation trials in real conditions. Visitors can reach the site from the airport in about twenty minutes, and the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region supports the event alongside the City and the Nice Côte d'Azur Metropolis.
With the OcéaNice convention centre — inaugurated in 2025 on the occasion of the UNOC — featuring a 1,300 m² terrace overlooking the sea, the city now has infrastructure that matches its international maritime ambitions.

KRONOS and ARION: engines designed for the world of Nice Boating Tomorrow

The KRONOS outboard motor, available from 80 to 300 horsepower, offers a engine efficiency of 97 %. Compatible with all boats equipped with a thermal outboard, it positions itself as the most advanced electric solution on the French market. Its first maintenance only occurs after 5,000 hours of navigation — meaning almost non-existent maintenance over a lifetime.
The ARION inboard motor, from 50 to 500 horsepower, meets the needs of professional vessels and large pleasure craft : passenger transport boats, fishing or aquaculture vessels… Silent, compact, integrable into existing installations, the ARION embodies clean propulsion without compromise.
In both cases, fuel savings reach up to 80 % compared to an equivalent thermal engine, and dependence on fluctuations in hydrocarbon prices disappears completely.
