Background of the internship

Weenav is an innovative company specialized in high power electric motors for boats.

Our connected systems allow the monitoring, analysis and remote control boats based on the data collected (engines, batteries, consumption, alerts, etc.).

This data is at the heart of our developments for real-time monitoring, analysis of uses, energy optimization and continuous improvement of our solutions.

In this context, Weenav is developing a web monitoring platform, complemented by a Mobile app, and research a full stack developer to design and develop this end-to-end software chain.

Missions

Develop the web monitoring platform, from the management and storage of technical data collected by boats to their visualization, analysis and interaction on a secure and fluid web interface.

‍

1. Backend & API

• Design and develop the application backend of the platform (Node.js/Python)

• Develop Secure REST or GraphQL APIs allowing:

• access to real time and historical data,
• the management of users, boats and rights,
• managing alerts, notifications and events

• Implement business logic related to monitoring

• states of the electrical system,
• consumptions,
• charge cycles,
• detection of anomalies,...

• Set up notifications

• Ensure the reliability, performance and safety services (JWT/OAuth2 authentication)

2. Database & monitoring data

• Design the data model for:

• motor and battery telemetry,
• navigation histories,
• alerts and events,
• usage statistics

• Set up the centralization and historization data (PostgreSQL/MySQL, temporal databases such as TimescaleDB or InfluxDB)

• Optimize queries for temporal and statistical analysis

• Guarantee integrity, traceability and performance data (Redis cache if necessary)

3. Web frontend — monitoring interface

• Develop a monitoring web interface modern and ergonomic (Angular/React/React/Vue/TypeScript/JavaScript):

• Design interactive dashboards,

• consumption and energy graphs (chart.js/ Echarts/D3.js),
• system states in real time,
• history and analysis of uses

• Allow a remote interaction with the boat to update it

• Ensure a Clear UX, operationally oriented and quick decision-making

4. Mobile application (secondary mission)

• Participate in the development and evolution of The mobile application (Flutter/FlutterFlow)

• Allow the user to:

• quickly consult the condition of your boat,
• receive notifications (Push Notifications/Firebase),
• perform simple actions remotely

• Guarantee functional consistency with the web platform

Profile wanted

• Student engineer In the final year, specializing in computer science/digital technology

• Solid foundations in full stack web development

• Comfortable with:

• Javascript/TypeScript
• databases
• APIs and web architectures
• Deployment and versioning tools (Doker/Git)

• Strong interest in:

• connected systems,
• technical data,
• monitoring, energy or IoT

• Autonomy, technical curiosity and analytical spirit
